
No. 5 Men's Water Polo Earns First Home Win of 2024

PRINCETON N.J.- On the opening day of the annual Princeton Invitational, Princeton faced off against the No. 19 Santa Clara Broncos and collected their first home win of 2024.
Princeton 15, Santa Clara 9
Tas Palcza started off the scoring with his first of two goals. Princeton pushed the pace and jumped out to a 3-0 lead over Santa Clara. The Tigers were able to keep the Broncos off the board for the first quarter thanks to key defensive stops and two saves from Kristóf Kovács.
Head coach Dustin Litvak's squad went into the halftime break with a 6-2 lead.
Santa Clara worked to chip away at the lead and got to within two goals in the third quarter but would not be able to close the gap. The Tigers racked up nine second half goals to claim the Friday night victory and move to 4-0.
