No. 5 Men's Water Polo Grabs Two Wins At Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J.- Day two of the Princeton Invitational brought the heat. The Tigers scored 32 combined goals, tallied four hat tricks, and two big wins.
Princeton 20, Navy 10
The Tigers kept the pressure up in their second game of the Princeton Invitational. Six different goal scorers gave Princeton a 7-3 lead after the first quarter.
Finn LeSieur kept up the offensive heat with a first half hat trick. The Midshipmen matched the Tigers' goal count in the second to make the game 9-5.
The third quarter brought in a wave of Princeton goals. Enrique Nuño scored his first goals with the Tigers after joining the team after the u19 European Championships.

In the second game of the day, the Tigers faced off against the No. 11 UC San Diego Tritons. UCSD scored first, but Princeton quickly knotted things up at one apiece thanks to a goal from Tas Palcza.
The score would sit tied at 6-6 after two quarters. The six Tiger goals came from six different players.
The third quarter had an offensive spark with Princeton tallying up four goals, including two from Palcza.
Kristóf Kovács and the Tiger defense held the Tritons to one goal in the third.
The fourth had a flare for the dramatics with UCSD looking to battle back. With the score sitting at 10-7, the Tigers and Tritons went back and forth exchanging goals. LeSieur was able to find the back of the net with 0:49 seconds on the clock for what would go on to be the winning goal as Princeton stands at 6-0 on the year.
