
No. 5 Men’s Water Polo Leaves Navy Open 3-0

Annapolis, Md.- The Princeton University men's water polo team took on George Washington in the team's final game of the Navy Open. The Tigers move to 3-0 with a 18-3 victory over the Revolutionaries.

The Tigers started off the game playing well on both sides of the ball. Princeton opened up the game with a 4-0 lead in the first quarter. That would balloon to a 10-0 run and a clean first half for goalie Kristóf Kovács.
George Washington would go on to put up three goals in the contest, but the Tiger's offense was too much to handle. Six Princeton scorers would tack on nine goals in the second half for a final score of 18-3.
Vladan Mitrovic paced the Tigers with four goals and Roko Pozaric added a hat trick to the stat sheet. Gavin Appeldorn had four of the team's 14 steals in the matchup.
