No. 3 Princeton Takes Down No. 2 Yale to Open Ivy Season

Opening the Ivy League season with a win on Saturday afternoon at the racquet center in Princeton's Meadows Neighborhood, the No. 3-ranked Princeton men's squash team knocked off No. 2 Yale 5-4, winning four matches in a five-match stretch to retake the lead and clinch the win.
Hassan Khalil opened with a five-game win at position five after opponent Rohan Gondi rallied from a 2-0 deficit in games, but Yale took the next two with wins from Arav Bhagwati at second and Tad Carney at first.
Then came Princeton's run of four wins in five, with Thomas Rosini rallying from being down 2-0 in games to win at sixth, Federico Sosa winning three straight games to win in four at eighth, and after Yale pulled back to even at 3-3 with a win at third from Lachlan Sutton, Avi Agarwal won in a sweep and Gordon Lam won in four at fourth and ninth to get Princeton to five wins.
Princeton will have its second top-four opponent of the weekend when Trinity comes in on Sunday at noon. Live results will be available here with live video available here.
