Ibrahim '22, Weaver '15 Advance to US Open Squash Semifinals

A pair of Princeton alumni advanced to the US Squash semifinals, set to be played Friday night at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center in Philadelphia.
On the men's side, Youssef Ibrahim '22, seeded in the 5-8 portion of the draw, has won three times to reach the semis, where he'll take on top-seeded and fellow Egyptian Mostafa Asal in a match set for 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Asal was the 2021 event champion.
On the women's side, Olivia (Fiechter) Weaver '15, seeded third, has also won three times to make the semis, and she'll also take on a higher-seeded opponent in the semis in second-seeded Hania El Hammamy of Egypt. That match is set for a 6 p.m. start on Friday.
The finals are set for the same times on Saturday back at the Specter Center.
