Reigning Ivy Champ Women's Squash Team Announces 2026-27 Schedule
June 15, 2026 | Women's Squash
Aiming to defend their Ivy League championship as well as the inaugural Ivy League Tournament title, the Princeton women's squash team has announced its 2026-27, a calendar that includes 13 regular-season matches, the CSA Ramsay Cup individual national championship tournament in New York in January for the third consecutive season, and for the first time since 2017, the CSA team championships will be played at Princeton.
In its second year, the Ivy League Tournament, hosted last year by Princeton with the Tiger women having earned the No. 1 seed, will be played this year at the site of the top men's seed. The national team tournament championship was played at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center in Philadelphia for the last four seasons after moving between campus sites prior to 2023.
The annually strong schedule includes all 10 of the other teams in the final CSA top 11, with the opening weekend bringing Drexel and Tufts, which finished last season No. 9 and No. 11, to the Racquet and Recreation Fieldhouse Nov. 21-22. Those two will be the first of nine regular-season home matches, a slate that includes Ivy matches against Yale and Brown, Feb. 6-7, and Cornell, Feb. 12.
Princeton will visit Penn on Jan. 31 in the rematch of the 2026 CSA Howe Cup final, and the Ivy season finale will send the Tigers to Columbia on Feb. 14. A visit from Stanford, on Feb. 15. will wrap the regular season.
The Tigers are able to return all three of the team's All-America honorees this season, including two-time reigning defending Ramsay Cup national champion Zeina Zein, fellow rising senior and three-time All-American Emma Trauber, and rising sophomore and 2026 Ivy League Rookie of the Year Alex Jaffe. That trio leads seven of the nine returners from this year's usual starters, along with Sam Jaffe, Caroline Eielson, Hermione Cao and Sonya Sasson.
