February 21, 2026 | Women's Squash
With five sweeps among the wins, the No. 1-ranked and top-seeded Princeton women's squash team won eight matches on the way to securing a trip to the inaugural Ivy League Tournament final, defeating fourth-seeded and No. 7-ranked Cornell 8-1 on Saturday at the Racquet and Recreation Fieldhouse.
The final, against second-seeded and No. 2-ranked Penn, has been moved to 9 a.m. on Sunday due to the impending winter storm. Tickets are available here.
Alex Jaffe, Hermione Cao and Caroline Eielson got Princeton off to a fast start with three wins in sweeps, and Sonya Sasson got Princeton a fourth win before Charlotte Bell closed out the last wave with a four-game win to deliver the clincher, pulling away from a 1-1 tie in games.
The third wave saw Princeton sweep again, with Liyen Teoh winning in three games and Emma Trauber and Sam Jaffe each taking wins in two of three games once their matches were shortened due to the overall match having been decided.
