Ivy League Tournament Champions! No. 1 Princeton Tops Penn to Sweep Ivy Titles
February 22, 2026 | Women's Squash
One week after winning the Ivy League title by completing a sweep through the league with a win over Harvard, the No. 1-ranked Princeton women's squash team became the inaugural Ivy League Tournament champions.
Against second-seeded and No. 2-ranked Penn, Princeton won five of the first six matches to finish, winning a 5-1 final.
Princeton started by taking two out of three in the first wave. Just after a Penn win at fourth position, Zeina Zein finished a three-game win at first position, and Sonya Sasson did the same at ninth position to give the Tigers a 2-1 lead.
The second wave saw Liyen Teoh turn in a three-game sweep at seventh position to get Princeton a 3-1 lead, and moments after Emma Trauber won in four games at third position, Sam Jaffe did the same at fifth, providing the clincher.
Zein was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player, with Jaffe, Teoh and Trauber on the All-Tournament Team.
Winners of 12 matches in a row in what is the program's longest streak since a 12-match run to start the 2012-13 season, the Tigers will await the draw for the CSA team championships, set for March 5-8 in Philadelphia.
