Top-Seeded Women's Squash to Host in Inaugural Ivy League Tournament
February 17, 2026 | Women's Squash
For the first time, the Ivy League is hosting a postseason Ivy League Tournament, and the inaugural event will be at Princeton this weekend after the Tigers swept through the league with a 6-0 record to win the Ivy League title and earn the event's top seed.
Princeton will open Saturday against fourth-seeded Cornell at 3:30 p.m., with second-seeded Penn meeting third-seeded Harvard at the same time. The winners will advance to a 3:30 p.m. final on Sunday.
Live video for the weekend will be available here, with live scoring for the semifinal here. Tickets are available here.
Princeton was ranked No. 2 in the nation in the Feb. 11 CSA team rankings ahead of last weekend's win over No. 1 Harvard, with the Quakers ranked third and Cornell eighth. The Tigers (11-1) are on a 10-match winning streak, their longest since a 10-match streak to start the 2018-19 season. A win on Saturday would give Princeton its longest winning streak since a 12-match run to start the 2012-13 season.
Individually, rookie Sam Jaffe has a season-long dual-match winning streak, going 12-0 in duals with all the wins coming between fourth, fifth and sixth positions. Three Tigers have each won 10 straight matches, with Liyen Teoh winning 10 in a row, all between fifth, sixth and seventh positions, Hermione Cao doing so between sixth, seventh and eighth positions, and Sonya Sasson winning 10 in a row between seventh, eighth and ninth.
