Men's Water Polo Ties Program Record with Four All-America Honors

Following a year that included a fifth consecutive trip to the NCAA Championships, the Princeton men's water polo team tied a program record with four ACWPC All-America selections, matching the mark previously set in 2022.
Senior Logan McCarroll earned third-team All-America honors after serving as one of the team's most consistent offensive catalysts. He appeared in all 33 games and made 29 starts, ranking second on the team with 57 goals while adding 15 assists. McCarroll delivered one of the signature performances of the season with five goals in the NWPC Tournament final against Harvard and consistently pressured defenses throughout the year, drawing 65 ejections.
Junior Kristóf Kovács, a team captain, received honorable mention recognition after anchoring the defense and playing a key leadership role throughout the season. He manned the cage in 26 games and logged every minute of the postseason, highlighted by a 16-save performance against Iona. Kovács also contributed across the pool with 23 assists and 22 steals, earning his third straight All-America honor and becoming the ninth player in program history to receive at least three.
Sophomore Gavin Appeldorn was named an honorable mention All-American following a productive two-way season. He played in 31 games with 18 starts, scoring 42 goals while also contributing as a distributor and defender with 24 assists, 17 steals, and 47 ejections drawn. Appeldorn made his mark on the national stage with a two-goal effort in the NCAA quarterfinals against eventual champion UCLA.
Rookie Taylor Bell rounded out the All-America honorees after an immediate-impact debut season. Bell played in all 33 games and started 25, leading the team in goals (58), steals (29), and sprints won (28) while ranking second in assists (43). He closed the year with a six-game scoring streak, underscoring his consistency and versatility throughout the season.
