Ivy Title Showdown Ahead Sunday for Men's Squash Team at Penn

It'll be as straightforward as can be on Sunday at noon for the No. 2-ranked Princeton and No. 1-ranked Penn men's squash teams. Winner gets the outright Ivy League title.

Princeton enters at 9-0 overall and 5-0 in the Ivy, and the Quakers enter at 15-0 in duals overall and 5-0 in the Ivy and had both finalists in the CSA individual championship, with Salman Khalil defeating Omar Hafez. Penn's dual match winning streak stands at 18 including last year's run to the CSA team national title.
The last team to defeat the Quakers? Princeton, in the final day of dual matches in Jadwin Gym, last Feb. 10 as Princeton rallied from a 4-1 deficit to win 5-4 and clinch a share of the 2024 Ivy title with the Quakers. That win snapped a five-match win streak in the series for the Quakers since Princeton's last win over Penn in 2018. Penn went on to avenge both of its regular-season defeats in the CSA team tournament, getting past Princeton 5-4 in the semis and Trinity 7-1 in the final.
An Ivy title this year would be Princeton's 20th, and it'd be Princeton's first back-to-back Ivy titles since 2012 and 2013.
Following the match, Princeton will resume its season on Feb. 23 at the racquet center in Princeton's Meadows Neighborhood against Virginia in the team's regular-season dual finale.
