Malinka Kwemo Named All-NIRA Honorable Mention

PRINCETON, N.J. – The National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA) announced its all-conference honorees Friday afternoon and sophomore Malinka Kwemo of the Princeton University women's rugby team was named All-NIRA Honorable Mention.

Kwemo, who was named the Tigers' Fall 2024 Attacking Player of the Season, helped guide Princeton to its first 15s victory at the varsity level when it took down Bowdoin, 59-0, at Rickerson Field at Haaga House on Sept. 21. That afternoon, Kwemo went 7-for-9 on conversion attempts.

Kwemo also recorded a hat-trick in Princeton's 49-12 triumph over Mount St. Mary's in Emmitsburg, Maryland, on Oct. 26, in what was the Tigers' second varsity 15s win.

In addition, Kwemo scored against Navy on Oct. 12.
