Women's Rugby Announces 2026 Schedule
July 16, 2026 | Women's Rugby
PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University women's rugby team has released its 2026 schedule, an eight-match slate that features four home matches at Rickerson Field at Haaga House and road trips spanning from Philadelphia to Maine.
"As we step into my first season as head coach at Princeton, I'm filled with deep gratitude and excitement for what lies ahead," said Head Coach Karameli Fa'ae'e.
"First, thank you to our alumni, administrators, and the entire Princeton community. Your belief, generosity, and support have made an immediate impact. You've welcomed me with open arms, and I'm truly honored to be part of the Princeton Rugby story.
Every season brings new opportunities, and this one is especially unique. Together, we have the opportunity to build our own identity in how we compete, how we support one another, and how we respond to every challenge that comes our way.
This schedule is particularly exciting because many of these opponents are teams I have never coached against before. It presents an opportunity to grow, adapt, and prepare for a variety of playing styles. Our focus will be on building strong fundamentals, establishing our Tiger standard, and developing a team that is dynamic, disciplined, and connected on both sides of the ball.
I'm energized to coach this exceptional group of student-athletes and to build a culture that reflects Princeton's pursuit of excellence. Together, we will honor those who came before us while setting a standard for those who follow.
This is just the beginning, and I can't wait to see what we create together."
The Karameli Fa'ae'e era begins on the road, as the Tigers travel to Philadelphia to face LaSalle on Sept. 5, with kickoff set for 11:00 a.m.
Princeton returns home for a two-game stretch to open its home slate, hosting LIU on Sept. 13 at noon, followed by a matchup against West Chester on Sept. 19, also at 12 p.m.
The Tigers hit the road again on Sept. 26 for a 10:00 a.m. contest against Frostburg State in Frostburg, Maryland.
October brings Princeton back to home turf for back-to-back matches, starting with Dartmouth on Oct. 10 at 11:00 a.m., followed by Mount St. Mary's on Oct. 17 at 12 p.m.
The Tigers close out the regular season with two more road tests: a trip to Annapolis, Maryland to take on Navy on Oct. 31 (time to be determined), and a final regular season contest at Bowdoin in Brunswick, Maine, on Nov. 7 at 11:00 a.m.
