PRINCETON, N.J. – Opening the 2026 action at Haaga House, the Princeton women's rugby team will host LIU this Sunday at Rickerson Field. Kickoff is set for 12:00 p.m. at Rickerson Field.

Starting With A Win
The Tigers kicked off the 2026 season and the tenure of Head Coach Karameli Fa'ae'e with a win last weekend at La Salle. With a 52-17 final score, the Tigers dominated with Charlie Wolfe scoring three tries, Ava Gregory scoring two, and Myah Natorp, Malinka Kwemo and Sara Zavieh each adding one apiece.

The Fa'ae'e Era
Fa'ae'e was named head coach of the program in May, coming to Princeton after spending 2025-26 as an assistant coach at Brown and serving as an assistant coach of the USA U-23 team.

The Returners
Including Malinka Kwemo, who was named All-National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA) Honorable Mention in 2024, the Tigers return fellow seniors Laura Barnds, Ava Gregory, Maya Kenny, Hannah Mulligan and Celia Watson along with juniors Malica Feratovic, Josie Frazer, Annie Huettel, Lila King, Stella McBride, Lindsey Mulligan, Reyna Palmer, Riley Pan
and Raven Robinson. Returning sophomores include Maizy Miller, Myah Natorp, Hazel Pron, Charlie Wolfe and Sara Zavieh.

The Newcomers
Six new sophomores join the Tigers in 2026 in Hazel Conklin, Christina Fuentes, Lehua Harris, Lexie Loughran, Emily Popek and Sophia White. First-years Alexandra Hawthorne and Siena Miller also join the squad.

History Against The Sharks
Princeton and LIU will face off for the third time this weekend, falling twice before with the last meeting a 54-7 Shark win in Brookville, N.Y. a year ago.
