Anglade & Seltzer Named Winter PNC Achievers
March 13, 2025 | General, Men's Fencing, Women's Swimming and Diving
A pair of standout leaders and student-athletes for Princeton University were recently honored as the Winter PNC Athlete Achievers and were presented with their awards at the Winter PVC Luncheon. Ronald Anglade (men's fencing) and Maddie Seltzer (women's swimming & diving) exemplify what it takes to achieve, serve and lead in the classroom, community and competition.
RONALD ANGLADE '25 | MEN'S FENCING
Ronald "R.J." Anglade is a senior captain for Princeton men's fencing. Specializing in the sabre, Anglade has been a First Team All Ivy honoree, regional champion and NCAA All American, and helped Princeton to the 2024 and 2025 Ivy League team titles.
Off the strip, Anglade serves as a peer health advisor and orange key tour guide, while also participating in community initiatives including Teams & Toys and Reading with the Tigers. He is part of the leadership team for the Black Premedical Society, helping to spearhead events and oversee its peer mentorship program, and has done work for the Princeton Medical Center and Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide.
From Alpharetta, Georgia, Anglade is majoring in Molecular Biology with a minor in Global Health and Health Policy.
MADDIE SELTZER '25 | WOMEN'S SWIMMING & DIVING
Maddie Seltzer is a senior diver for Princeton women's swimming and diving, helping the Tigers three-peat as Ivy League champions. Seltzer has qualified for the NCAA Zone Championships in each of her seasons.
Out of the pool, Seltzer has been a two-year Co-President of the Student-Athlete Service Council, helping to shape broad-based service offerings for student-athletes. She is also a Student-Athlete Orientation Leader and co-founder of the Jewish Student-Athlete Collective, and taught underserved student is Vietnam as part of Coach for College. Seltzer currently leads the Team IMPACT program on campus, matching children with serious illnesses and disabilities with Princeton teams.
From Scarsdale, New York, Seltzer is a sociology major with a certificate in Entrepreneurship.
