Mulshine Named To USILA Team Of The Week
March 26, 2025 | Men's Lacrosse
Colin Mulshine did what he usually does this past weekend. The only difference is that this time, there was some recognition for him afterwards.
Mulshine, a senior defenseman, held Harvard's Sam King to one goal and one assist with three turnovers in Princeton's big 13-11 Ivy League win over the Crimson last Saturday. The usually unnoticed Mulshine earned USILA Team of the Week honors for his performance.
Of course, being unnoticed is not necessarily a bad thing for someone like Mulshine, who always guards the other team's top scorer. King came into the game in the top four in Division I in both goals per game and points per game, and the two points he had were four below his average. Amazingly, Mulshine has been a starter since early in his freshman year and yet has committed only one penalty the entire time, a 30-second hold two years ago.
Princeton travels to No. 17 Dartmouth Saturday. The Tigers are No. 4 in the polls and No. 1 in RPI heading into the game against the Big Green, who are ranked 17th in RPI. Dartmouth won its Ivy opener last weekend 9-8 in overtime at Penn.
