No. 10 Men’s Water Polo Hits The Road For Navy Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J.- The Princeton men's water polo team may have a new look, but Dustin Litvak's new squad opened the 2025 season with a bang. The Tigers went 5-0 at the Princeton Invite with double digit scoring in all five contests.
16 members of the team scored across the weekend with Finn LeSieur pacing the group with 12 goals on 17 shots. The junior had a perfect 6-for-6 game against Santa Clara on his way to earning NWPC Player of the Week Honors.
The freshmen duo of Otto Stothart and Taylor Bell racked up a combined 16 goals, eight steals and six assists. Bell was named the conference Rookie of the Week in which his weekend was highlighted by a hat trick against Santa Clara.
Kristóf Kovács stood tall in the cage for Princeton. The junior captain made a whopping 47 stops and recorded a .588 save percentage. He also added eight steals and two assists. Kovács picked up NWPC Defensive Player of the Week honors, the twelfth of his career.
After an 11 assist weekend, senior JP Ohl moved into sole possession of second place on the career assists list with 175.
The Tigers will now turn their attention to the Navy Invitational in Annapolis, Md. Princeton will face Salem on Friday night at 7:30 before a doubleheader against No. 17 Navy at 9:20 AM and George Washington at 3:20.
