September 30, 2025 | Women's Cross Country
PRINCETON, N.J. – Anna McNatt was named Ivy League Athlete of the Week on Monday.
The award, McNatt's first, comes after the sophomore finished first for Princeton at the Gans Creek Classic on Friday.
Competing against some of the nation's best, McNatt finished in the top-40, kicking out three runners in her final split to finish in 39th. She set a new personal best 6k time of 20:09.3.
Between the 1000m mark and the finish, McNatt passed over 100 runners as she moved up from 178th, making her the only woman in the top-40 to accomplish that feat.
In a field of 31 teams, McNatt's performance helped Princeton to a 17th place finish with a score of 447. The Tigers beat two ranked programs in #6 Alabama and #24 Lipscomb, while also defeating seven programs from the Power 4.
With Myles Hogan taking the honor on the men's side, this award marks the second time this season that Princeton swept the Ivy weekly awards.
McNatt and the Tigers will take to the course again this weekend as they head to Bethlehem, Pa. for the Paul Short Run on Friday, October 3rd.
