Palumbo Is USA Lacrosse Preseason First-Team All-American; Seven Tigers Honored In All
January 20, 2026 | Men's Lacrosse
In college men's lacrosse, you'd obviously rather be honored in May than in January. Still, it's nice to be on any All-American list, even the preseason one.Â
Chad Palumbo, a Princeton senior midfielder, has been named a preseason first-team All-American by USA Lacrosse, it was announced today. Palumbo is one of seven Princeton players honored, making the Tigers and Maryland the teams with the most selections.Â
Senior goalie Ryan Croddick was named third-team All-American, with three Tigers who have earned Honorable Mention: sophomore attackman/middie Peter Buonanno, junior SSDM Jackson Green and junior attackman Nate Kabiri.
Princeton opens its season Feb. 14 at home at noon against Penn State.Â

Tucker Wade, a junior, was named to the second-team, making Princeton the only team with two offensive midfielders between first- and second-team. Joining Wade as a second-team selection is another junior, Cooper Mueller, a shortstick defensive midfielder who had a major breakout season a year ago.ÂMAKE THAT SIX FOR PALUMBO ??
