Men's Squash Gets Past Columbia to Sweep Weekend

Sweeping the Cornell-Columbia weekend, the No. 8-ranked Princeton men's squash team was a 7-2 winner over No. 7 Columbia on Sunday afternoon at the Racquet and Recreation Fieldhouse.
Princeton took five of the first six matches to finish on the way to the win. Aly Ibrahim, Yuvraj Wadhwani and Federico Sosa swept the first wave, with Ibrahim breaking a 1-1 tie in games to win in four, Wadhwani winning three straight after dropping the first game, and Sosa gutting out a five-game match to get Princeton a 3-0 lead.
The second wave saw Columbia get on the board with a win at fifth position, but David Beeson won the last two games to take his match in five and Hollis Robertson provided the clincher with a four-game win after winning the first two games.
The final wave saw Columbia take the match at sixth position before Justin Cheng and Avi Agarwal each won back-and-forth matches in five games.
Princeton will return to play on Feb. 7 with a visit from No. 3 Penn.
