Men's Squash Team Set for Saturday's Pivotal Ivy Matchup with Penn

Moving toward a spot in the Ivy League Tournament and a key victory are at stake Saturday when the No. 8-ranked Princeton men's squash team hosts No. 3 Penn at 1 p.m. at the Racquet and Recreation Fieldhouse.

The Tigers are 2-1 in Ivy League play following a weekend sweep of Cornell and Columbia, and can clinch a berth in the Ivy League Tournament with a win over Penn and a Cornell victory against Columbia. The Quakers, also 2-1 in the Ivy, have won the last two meetings between the teams, including last year's regular-season matchup and the 2024 CSA team semifinal, after Princeton won the final match in Jadwin Gym earlier in 2024 to earn a share of the Ivy League title.

Aly Ibrahim leads Princeton with a 7-1 record in dual matches and has won four straight, competing across the second, third, and fourth positions. Federico Sosa, Hollis Robertson, Justin Cheng, Yuvraj Wadhwani, and David Beeson each have five dual-match victories, with Sosa and Wadhwani both riding four-match winning streaks.

Following the weekend, Princeton will close the regular season with home matches against Dartmouth and Harvard at the Racquet and Recreation Fieldhouse on Feb. 14-15.
