Agarwal & Wunder Named Winter PNC Student-Athlete Achievers

A pair of Princeton student-athletes have been honored for their work in the classroom and community as well as their efforts in competition as Avi Agarwal and Issy Wunder have been selected as the Winter 2026 PNC Student-Athlete Achievers.
AVI AGARWAL '26 | MEN'S SQUASH
Avi Agarwal is a senior captain for Princeton men's squash. A 2025 CSA second-team All-American, Agarwal helped the Tigers to the 2024 Ivy League championship in the final match ever played in Jadwin Gym.
Off the court, Agarwal is an active member of the Student-Athlete Service Council and Varsity Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. He is a founding member of the Princeton Private Equity group and has served as President of the Scholars of Finance – Princeton's ethical finance club with more than 120 on-campus members. Additionally, Agarwal has served his local community as a senate liaison team member in the area of climate change.
From Monroe, NJ, Agarwal is an Economics major with minors in Finance and Statistics and Machine Learning.
ISSY WUNDER '26 | WOMEN'S ICE HOCKEY
Issy Wunder is a senior captain for Princeton women's ice hockey, having helped this year's Tigers to a Top-10 national ranking and program record 13-game win streak.
Last season saw Wunder log 50 points on her way to being recognized as Ivy League Player of the Year, ECAC Forward of the Year and a finalist for the Patty Kazmaier Award, given to the nation's top player. Off the ice, she served as the department's lead ambassador for Let Her Play, helping to promote girls' participation in athletics. She has also mentored and helped young hockey players across Canada with the recruiting process, and volunteered with several PVC-led service programs.
A psychology major from Toronto, Can., Wunder is a two-time ACHA All-American Scholar.
