PRINCETON, N.J. – Princeton University women's volleyball Recruiting Coordinator/Assistant Coach Dominique Mason was a recipient of the 2026 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Thirty Under 30 Award.
The Thirty Under 30 program recognizes up-and-coming coaches in different sectors of the sport who serve in a range of roles, from head coach to volunteer assistant to club director. Each of this year's recipients had to be age 30 or under as of Dec. 31, 2025, to qualify for the award.
"I am incredibly honored to be recognized by the AVCA. Coaching is about building relationships, developing people, and helping student-athletes become the best versions of themselves," said Mason. "I'm grateful for the mentors and players who have shaped my journey and continue to inspire the work every day."
Mason adds a third postseason coaching accolade, as she was also named as part of the 2025 Ivy League Coaching Staff of the Year and to the 2025-26 Advancing Beyond In Sports (ABIS) Assistant Coaches Watch List.
The 2025 season saw Mason help guide the Tigers to the Ivy League regular season title, the Ivy League Tournament title and an NCAA Tournament appearance. In addition, Sydney Draper was named Ivy Player of the Year and four Princeton players received All-Ivy honors.
