PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University women's rugby team continues its spring season at the Tropical 7s at the Tampa Sportsplex in Tampa, Florida, from Apr. 3-4.
What Is The Tropical 7s?
The Tropical 7s is North America's largest and premier rugby 7s festival, bringing together 200+ teams every Easter from across North America as well as from around the world for the ultimate rugby 7s experience in the Florida sunshine.

Princeton played at the West Chester 7s in West Chester, Pennsylvania, on Mar. 28. Princeton Black, one of the Tigers' two teams who played, went 4-0 which marked the first undefeated tournament result in the program's varsity history. Princeton Black outscored its opponents 130-27, and defeated West Chester 26-0, Penn State 36-10, Frostburg 42-5 and La Salle 26-12.
Princeton Orange, a B side composed primarily of the program's newest student-athletes, played in three matches against WCU's B side, a group that consisted of many of West Chester's recruited A side players. The Tigers fell in their first two matches, 15-10 and 15-7, but battled back from 10-0 down in the third match to earn a 10-10 tie.
