Alexandra Lee, Brandon Lee and Hadley Husisian all successfully defended their NCAA regional titles on Saturday at Haverford as the Princeton fencing teams wrapped up their final meet before the NCAA Championships begin on March 19 at Notre Dame.
Alexandra Lee, a junior saber, made it back-to-back NCAA regional championships, as did senior foil Brandon Lee. Junior épée Hadley Husisian made it 3 for 3 as a Tiger at the NCAA regional meet, adding Saturday's title to wins in 2023 and 2025 around taking an Olympic year in 2024.
In addition to the chance for a regional title, the meet accounts for 60 percent of a fencer's résumé toward selections for the NCAA Championships, which will be announced on Tuesday.
Alexandra Lee led Princeton's most successful weapon on Saturday, with Princetonians taking the top three spots as Honor Johnson finished second and Emese Domonkos took third. Four more Tigers posted top-three finishes, with épée Angel Xiao taking second and épée Alec Brooke, foil Lydia Shen and saber Adam Lai each taking third.
Princeton's complete list of finishers is below, and full results are available here.
