Jen Halterman Joins Tigers as Assistant Coach

PRINCETON, N.J. – Jennifer Halterman will join the Princeton women's volleyball staff as assistant coach, the program announced Thursday.
"Jen brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm," said Head Coach Sabrina King. "She is primarily going to focus on first touch, and as a former libero at Penn State, she has learned from the best and has an incredibly high standard. We are so fortunate and grateful to have Jen join our Tiger family as we continue to build culture and win matches!"
Halterman will join the Tigers after six years of coaching club volleyball in the Princeton area, most recently serving as head coach of the West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North girls' volleyball program.
Prior to coaching at West Windsor-Plainsboro, Halterman spent a year as assistant coach at Holy Family University.
As a player herself, Halterman was a PSUAC semi-finalist as a setter at Penn State Mont Alto, making 1,081 assists and 231 aces in two seasons.
Transferring to Penn State her junior year, Halterman played under volleyball legend Head Coach Russ Rose.
She ended her tenure as a Big Ten Conference Champion, NCAA semi-finalist and Academic All-Big Ten honoree.
"I am excited for this season at Princeton and the opportunity to work alongside championship-level coaches and student-athletes as we pursue our goals together, both as a team and as individuals," said Halterman. "Most of all, I am excited to build new relationships, get to know these student-athletes beyond the game, and be part of the Princeton community."
