Men's Ice Hockey Adds Six Newcomers In Class Of 2030

Princeton Men's Ice Hockey Ticket Information

A group of six newcomers is slated to join the Princeton men's ice hockey program for the 2026-27 season as members of the Class of 2030 as announced by Ben Syer, the Hobey Baker '14 Head Coach of Men's Ice Hockey.

Two forwards and four defensemen will don Tiger uniforms for the first time this coming season, with four members of the incoming class making their way to New Jersey from Canada and the two others hailing from Massachusetts and Missouri.

Three newcomers most recently played in the WHL, while others spent their final season of junior hockey in the OHL, BCHL and USHL.

"It is always exciting to welcome newcomers into your program," said Syer. "We've been looking forward to the day this group arrived on campus to welcome them into our Princeton Hockey community. These six young men have grown as students and hockey players over the past few years to be ready to make contributions on and off the ice at Princeton right away. I am thrilled with how they have developed to this point which is a credit to themselves, their families and their coaches along the way. We look forward to further tapping into their potential over the next four years and can't wait to have them in our room soon alongside our returning players."
