Men's Basketball Postgame Notes • Mar. 11, 2017 vs. Penn
• Though this was the first Ivy League Tournament game, only one Ivy playoff game (when two or more teams ended the season tied) went to overtime. It was also a Princeton-Penn game, when in 1996, after Penn had beaten Princeton twice during the regular season, the Tigers beat Penn 63-56 in overtime at Lehigh to advance to the NCAA Tournament.
• Princeton's 18-game winning streak is tied for its third-longest single-season win streak in program history and tied for fourth-longest when including streaks that spanned seasons. Princeton's 20-game winning streak during the 1997-98 season is the program record and the last one that was longer.
• Princeton's .375 shooting clip from the field broke a nine-game run in which the Tigers shot at least 40 percent from the field.
• Princeton's five 3-pointers were its second-lowest total of the season. The low was three, also coming against Penn on Jan. 7 in Jadwin Gym. Princeton shot .278 from 3-point range, its lowest clip since that game (.158).
• Princeton's 19 free throws were its second-most of the season. The season high also came against Penn, when Princeton went 24 of 28 in the Jan. 7 game in Jadwin.
• Amir Bell's 16 points were one off his season-high 17 against Yale on Jan. 14 in Jadwin.
• Myles Stephens' 21 points were a career high, one-upping his 20 at Yale on Feb. 17.
• Devin Cannady's 11 rebounds were a career high and gave him his first career double-double. The Ivy League leader in free throw percentage on the season (.934) went 10 for 10 from the stripe, becoming the first Tiger to be perfect from the line with at least 10 attempts since Noah Savage '08 went 11 for 11 against Harvard on Feb. 22, 2008.
