Personal: Son of Tera and David Gainey … Has two sisters, Bria and Halle … Uncle, Greg Turner, ran the decathlon at Washington State … Cousin, Aja Turner, plays soccer at Maine … Cousin, Bob, played 16 years with Montreal Canadiens, winning four Stanley Cups … He was inducted in the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1992 and won another Stanley Cup as general manager of the Dallas Stars in 1999.
