Rupert, a native of Chalfont, Pennsylvania, Rupert joined the Princeton men’s volleyball program as a volunteer assistant coach ahead of the 2020 season.
During the shortened 2020 season, Rupert's first with the Tigers, the team went 7-2 in EIVA play and earned their first win over UCLA in school history.
Rupert played professional volleyball in Croatia for Mladost Ribola Kaštela. Prior to that, he was a member the men’s volleyball team at Brigham Young University from 2015-2018.
