2020: All-EIVA Honorable Mention...Finished third in the EIVA in blocks per set with 1.04 and blocks with 56…played in all 15 matches and had 65 kills on a .443 hitting percentage along with 35 digs, 11 service aces and seven assists…recorded a season-high seven blocks at Penn State on Feb. 14…had a season-best nine kills against Harvard on Mar. 1.
2019: Did not miss any time, appearing in all 31 games … Added 233 kills, a .292 attack percentage and team-best 42 service aces … Team-best 141 digs … All-EIVA Second-Team … Led the conference in service aces … Was in the conference’s top 10 in kills, hitting percentage, service aces per set, digs, total blocks and points … Had nine games with at least 10 kills including the first round of the NCAA Tournament at Barton (Apr. 25).
2018: earned EIVA All-Tournament Team honors after averaging 15 kills and 5 digs during Princeton's run to the EIVA finals … ranked second on the team in kills, digs and points per set … posted one of the best matches of his career in upsetting top-seeded George Mason in the EIVA semifinal; Luck recorded 18 kills, six digs and three blocks, and he hit .424 for the match … posted career-high 21 kills in 3-2 win over #8 Stanford … had seven double-doubles on the season, including one in the 3-2 home win over Penn State.
2017: averaged 1.9 kills, 1.2 digs, and .4 blocks per set in his first year as a starting outside … made collegiate debut with a season-best 19 kills in near upset of #15 Ball State; matched that season high in 3-2 home win over Saint Francis … had nine matches with double-digit kills … recorded 11 kills, nine digs and five blocks in 3-2 road loss at Penn State.
Before Princeton — led South Pasadena to four straight conference titles; team won 2013 and 2014 CIF titles, and it upset second seed to reach 2016 CIF semifinal … competed in the 2014 and 2015 Junior Olympics … named Team MVP … 2014 All-CIF honoree … multiple all-league honoree … team captain for both high school and club program … three-year basketball letterwinner … earned all-league honors in basketball and led team to 2015 league title.
Personal — born Sept. 24, 1997 … son of Christopher and Kathryn Luck … has three older sisters: Claudia, Anneliese and Josephine; also has a twin brother Maxwell, who will be play volleyball at UCSD … Josephine played volleyball at NYU … enjoys hiking and reading … planning to study Civil and Environmental Engineering.
