Elizabeth Pillion, a two-time first-team All-America for the Tigers and a current member of the U.S. Elite Team, is in her third season as a volunteer assistant coach for the Tigers.
Pillion, along with fellow Princeton assistants Michele DeJuliis and Amy Altig, will also play for the United States touring team that the Prague Cup in the summer of 2008.
Pillion, one of 20 finalists for the Tewaaraton Trophy in 2005, concluded her Princeton career with 104 goals and 150 points and finished ninth all-time at Princeton in career ground balls with 167. She was a first-team All-America in both 2004 and 2005 and a second-team All-America in 2003.
A first-team All-Ivy League selection in both 2004 and 2005, she was also honored with the C. Otto Von Kienbusch Award as the top senior female athlete at Princeton in 2004-05.
Pillion was also a member of the NCAA All-Tournament Team in both 2003 and 2004.
A Villanova, Pa., native and a high school All-America at Episcopal Academy, Pillion also played soccer at Princeton, helping the Tigers to the NCAA College Cup semifinals during her senior season.
