David Goldstein

David Goldstein, a member of the Princeton Class of 2017, joined the men's soccer program as a student coach prior to the 2015 season.
A native of Miami, Fla., Goldstein is majoring in philosophy.
Goldstein did a coaching internship with Atlético Nacional S.A. in Medellín, Colombia in 2015 and is currently acquiring his USSF National "D" Coaching License. He was co-host of a soccer talk show called SWOLtalk for the website Soccer Without Limits. Goldstein is an activist in concussion awareness and is the founder of Countywide Concussion Care.
Goldstein was captain of the Real Madrid Soccer Academy of the Americas U18. The team finished as a state cup quarterfinalist 2011-12. He was a state cup finalist as both a player and an assistant coach for Kendall Soccer Coalition U15 2009-2010. He was a four-year letterwinner from 2009-2013 for Ransom Everglades School and served as team captain as the Raiders won the district championship in 2013. He was selected to play in the 2013 Florida Coaches Association All-Star Tournament, while winning the Silver Knight Award in Athletics for Miami-Dade County the same year. Goldstein is a National Federation of State High School Associations Spirit of Sport Award Section 3 Winner.
His interest includes all things soccer, Philadelphia sports teams and pop culture.
His parents are Adam Goldstein (Princeton ’81) and Cheryl Goldstein (Tulane ’84). He has a younger sister Julie (Princeton '18).
