ONEONTA, N.Y. - Sophomore Midfielder Matt Behncke scored two goals, including the first one just 2:11 into the contest, as Princeton (4-2) took a 3-0 victory over Hartwick College (2-7) on Saturday afternoon at Hartwick's Elmore Field.
Behncke gave the Tigers the only goal they needed. Lucas Moskowitz put a ball back to behncke about 22 yards from the goal. After taking one dribble, Behncke let loose.
The Tigers got an unassisted goal from Walker Wright midway through the first half. Wright picked up a poor clearing pass and knocked the shot in from about 25 yards. Princeton went up 3-0 with about four minutes left in the half. Matt Douglas assisted on Behncke's second goal.
