Tigers Move One Step Closer To A Championship With 17-10 Victory Over Penn

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Princeton fencing team picked up a pair of important Ivy League victories tonight, as the men and women defeated Pennsylvania 17-10 at Jadwin Gym. With the win, the men improve to 10-3 (3-0 Ivy), while the women (13-2, 4-0 Ivy) set a University record, picking up win No. 13.
In women's competition, the ?p?e squad won seven of nine bouts, while both sabre and foil won 5-4. With the score tied 9-9 in men's action after sabre and foil competition complete, the ?p?e squad reeled off eight victories in nine tries for the victory.
