Tigers Continue to Hold Lead

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Princeton women's swimming and diving team remains in first place at the Ivy League championships this weekend at Harvard. The Tigers have a total of 518 points and are 12 points ahead of Brown with 506. The host Crimson are third.
The evening session got off to a resounding start with the Princeton 200-medley relay team taking first place with a meet, pool and University record time of 4:19.45. The members of the team are Kate Conroy, Chrissy Hollins, Molly Seto and Yen Tay.
Princeton got its next first place finishes with Hollins taking first in the 100 breast with a time of 1:04.70. Conroy also finished first in the 100 bask with a time of 56.66.
Jenny Macaulay finished second in the 400 IM with a time of 4:19.45 and Val Kukla also notched a second place finish in the 200 free with a time of 1:51.40. Molly Seto took third in the 100 fly with a time of 56.34.
The competition concludes Saturday evening in Cambridge, Mass. The Tigers are seeking their first Ivy League championship since 1995. A win would end Brown's four-year stronghold on the title.
