Double Win for Women's Swim Team at H-Y-P

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - In one of the most exciting and prestigious meets of the season, the Princeton women's swimming team defeated both Yale and the host Harvard Crimson in double-dual meet competition. Princeton is now 10-0 overall and 8-0 in the Ivy League with the 182-118 win over Harvard and the 218-82 pounding of Yale.
Valerie Kukla won the 1000 meters for the Tigers with a time of 10:07.49. Kate Conroy defeated the field with a 57.35 time in the 100 back. She also won the 200 back with a time of 2:04.08 Freshman Molly Seto won the 200 fly with a time of 2:03.66. She also won the 50 free with a time of 24.16 as well as the 100 fly with a time of 56.80. Jenny Macaulay took first place in the 200 breast with a time of 2:19.03 and the 200 IM in a 2:06.27 time
Erin Lutz won the three-meter diving with a score of 302.70. Teammate Katherine Mattison was second with a score of 270.20.
Princeton does not compete again until the end of the month when it returns to Cambridge for the Ivy League Championships on Feb. 24-26.
