Scoreboard watching will not be necessary.
Sure, next weekend's playoff opponent will not be determined until the rest of the ECAC schedule is completed tonight.
This much is certain, though. With a win or tie, Princeton is guaranteed to host a first-round series. With a loss, Princeton will be on the road.
For the full rundown of playoff possibilities, use the guides below set up by the ECAC web page. The table of seedings lists all possible combinations depending on the results of the Dartmouth/St. Lawrence, Cornell/Princeton, and Rensselaer/Harvard games as well as the Union/Brown game. Below the table are the individual possibilities for each team. By eliminating the wrong assertions as results come in on Saturday, each team will have one possibility left which will indicate the final seedings.
