Tigers Finish Third at HYP

NEW HAVEN, CONN. - The latest EARC poll could not have called it better, as No. 1 Yale won the annual HYP men's lightweight regatta this morning in New Haven. No. 3 Harvard finished in second while fourth-ranked Princeton finished in third.
In the varsity eight event, the Bulldogs crossed the finish line in 5:41.30, followed by Harvard (5:43.80) in second and Princeton (5:48.80) in third. Princeton won both the second and third varsity races, with Harvard taking second.
The Tigers took first place in the first freshman race with a time of 5:55.7. Yale finished in second while the Crimson took third.
Princeton is now 3-3 and will return to action on Saturday, May 6, as it hosts Georgetown.
