Princeton Ranked No. 25 Heading Into 2001-02 Season

Princeton, N.J. - The Princeton University women's swimming and diving team enters the 2001-02 season ranked No. 25 in the College Swim Coaches Association of America Poll. The Tigers received 12 votes in this season's first poll after finishing 25th at the 2001 NCAA Championships.
Princeton commences the season by hosting Boston College at DeNunzio Pool this afternoon at 2 p.m. The Tigers currently hold a 23-match winning streak that dates back to 1998. They are back-to-back defending Ivy League champions after finishing last season with an 8-0 overall mark.
Stanford opens the year ranked No. 1 with seven first-place votes and 199 total votes. Georgia is second with 188 votes and one first-place vote. Princeton is the only Ivy school receiving votes.
