Men's Fencing Sweeps Three Guests

Princeton, N.J. - The men's fencing team improved its record to 6-1 overall and 1-0 in the Ivy League by defeating Columbia (15-12), St. John's (15-12) and Rutgers (16-11). The victory over St. John's is only Princeton's second win in the last five years against the Red Storm.
Freshman Soren Thompson went 3-0 in the men's ep?e competition vs. Rutgers, Jonathan Jew-Lim won all three of his matches against Rutgers in the men's foil competition and Mike Brosterman swept through the men's sabre competition against St. John's.
The Tigers host Vassar next Saturday at 10 a.m, and then they fence at Pennsylvania at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
