NCAA All-Tournament Women's Lacrosse Team Announced

Baltimore, Md. - Sophomore Rachael Becker (Defense, Broomall, Pa.) and junior Jess Nelson (Defense, E. Northport, N.Y.) were both selected to the NCAA All-Tournament team. The Team was selected after the NCAA championship game between Georgetown and Maryland at John's Hopkins University on Sunday, May 20. Becker, who covered Maryland's Jen Adams, scooped up four ground balls and caused one turnover in Princeton's 14-7 loss to the Terrapins on Friday. Nelson held talented Allison Comito to one assist in the National semifinal contest. The junior defender picked up two ground balls and caused one turnover in defeat. The complete team is listed below:
Attack: Stacey Morlang (Loyola), Sheehan Stanwick (Georgetown) and Erin Elbe (Georgetown)
Midfield: Syzanne Eyler (Loyola), Jen Adams (Maryland), Quinn Carney (Maryland) and Kelly Coppedge (Maryland)
Defense: Rachael Becker (Princeton), Jess Nelson (Princeton) and Tori Wellington (Maryland)
Tournament MVP: Maryland Midfielder: Courtney Martinez
