Princeton, N.J. - Princeton will host Ivy League rival Cornell on Thursday, May 10 at 3 p.m. in the first round of the NCAA tournament. The Tigers defeated Cornell 9-5 in Ithaca on March 31, and the two will play at the Class of 1952 Stadium.
This is the first time in NCAA women's lacrosse history that there have been three teams in the tournament, since 1983 when Dartmouth, Harvard, Pennsylvania and Princeton all qualified. Ironically, all three Ivy League teams are in the same bracket in this year's tourney, as the winner of the Cornell-Princeton game will meet the winner of the Penn State-Dartmouth game on Sunday.
