Providence, R.I. - John Stover recorded a team-high five goals as the Tigers dropped their final match of the season to St. Francis, in overtime, 16-15 at the CWPA Eastern Championships. With the loss Princeton finishes the tournament in fourth place.
We played great and hung in there," said head coach Luis Nicolao. "It was a back and forth game and unfortunately it didn't work out for us. Robert Urguhart had four goals and Dan Mckenna had two. Gant Morgner played the first half of the match in net four the Tigers and recorded two saves. Peter Sabbatini played the second half and overtime and tallied eight saves.
Over the course of the game, Princeton lost four starters due to ejections; Kevin Foster in the second quarter, Urquhart and Jamal Motlagh in the third and Derrick Wong in the fourth.
