November 23, 2025 | Men's Water Polo
PROVIDENCE, R.I.- For the fifth consecutive season, the Princeton men's water polo team are the NWPC Champions.
The 13-10 win over the Harvard Crimson marks the program's tenth conference title and eleventh NCAA appearance.
The Tigers had their foot on the gas from the opening sprint in the title game. Taylor Bell got the possession for Princeton and not before long, Enrique Nuño scored the first goal of the contest. Once they claimed the lead, the Tigers would never relinquish it.
A penalty shot conversion from Bell and a second goal from Nuño put Princeton up 3-1 after the first frame.
The offense got hot as Finn LeSieur scored three goals in the second quarter along with Logan McCarroll scoring his first of the day.
Kristóf Kovács and the Princeton defense held the Crimson to just three goals in the first half.
Goals from Bell and JP Ohl put the Tigers up by five for their largest lead of the game. Harvard got one back but McCarroll got the steal and took the ball all the way to reclaim the five goal advantage.
The third quarter goal sparked an offensive onslaught from McCarroll, who scored the last four goals of the contest for five in the game.
McCarroll was named the Tournament MVP, after totaling seven goals throughout the weekend. The senior added three drawn exclusions and two steals. The five goal performance matched McCarroll's career high that he previously set against Bucknell in the 2024 season.
The Tigers will head to Stanford, Calif. for the NCAA Tournament with the bracket being announced on Monday, Nov. 24 at 12:00 PM ET.
