Kim Smith Named Ivy League Offensive Player Of The Week

Princeton, N.J. - Senior Kim Smith was named the IvyLeagueSports.com Offensive Player of the Week after she scored five goals in the first half of action against Duke, propelling the Tigers to victory over the former No. 1 team in the nation.
Smith followed her five-goal performance versus Duke with a her 12th goal of the season on her only shot attempt at Penn State as Princeton rolled to a 17-8 win. Smith has 13 points and has picked up five ground balls while connecting of 4 of 5 free position shots this season.
The Tigers open Ivy League play on Wednesday, March 27 when they face Columbia at New York City in a 4 p.m. contest. The Lions are 4-3 this year, but are coming off of two straight defeats. Princeton is 5-1 and ranked No. 2 in the nation after winning five straight games.
