Tigers Welcome Quakers To Class of '52

Princeton, N.J. - Head coach Chris Sailer has her team clicking on all cylinders entering Wednesday night's game with Pennsylvania. The Tigers are 11-1 overall and 4-0 in the Ivy League with the nation's best scoring margin at +7.25. Princeton looks to make it 12 straight wins this season and nine straight wins versus Penn at 7:30 p.m. at the Class of 1952 Stadium.
Princeton is 21-4 in its last 25 home games and is 7-1 in night contests at Class of '52 during that stretch. The Tigers have lit up the scoreboard this season with 175 total goals and double-digit goal totals in each game. The defense has been stingy, giving up 88 goals. Princeton has posted 98 goals in the first-half of games this season.
The Quakers are 5-6 overall and are 2-3 in the Ivy League. Crissy Book leads Penn in scoring with 22 goals. The Quakers have 94 goals as a team with a shooting percentage of 30 percent. Pennsylvania could even the all-time series with Princeton with a win. The Tigers hold a current 13-12-3 advantage in the series.
Senior Lauren Simone and sophomore Theresa Sherry lead the Tigers with 29 goals apiece. Sherry has 10 assists to go along with her 29 goals, Simone has eight assists on the year. Junior Rachael Becker leads the Tigers on defense with 30 caused turnovers and 31 groundballs.
Wednesday's game is the first of three straight home contests for Princeton. The Tigers play Dartmouth on Saturday afternoon and host Maryland in its regular season home finale next Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
