Princeton, N.J. - Princeton's Sprint Football season is ready to begin with the Tigers traveling north to face the Big Red of Cornell. The two teams meet for Princeton's eighth straight season opener on Friday night at 7 p.m.

The Tigers are 1-6 in the last seven season openers with Cornell, defeating the Big Red 12-7 in 1999. This year, Cornell opened with Penn, losing 17-3 at Franklin Field last weekend. Princeton has a six-game schedule with two games against Cornell and Pennsylvania and one each versus Army and Navy.

The Tigers open the home schedule next Friday, Oct. 4 with Penn.
