Clay Named ECAC Goaltender of the Week

Princeton goaltender Trevor Clay was named the ECAC Goaltender of the Week today following his performance last Saturday as he stopped 45 Harvard shots to earn a 2-1 win over the ECAC's first-place team. Clay's win improved his record to 3-4-0 this season which leads all Tiger goaltenders.
Clay's 45 saves on Saturday equalled his season high set in Princeton's first win against Rensselaer this season. Clay also manned the pipes at Rensselaer at the Rensselaer/HSBC Holiday Tournament, stopping 41 Engineer shots for the win.
Princeton forward Chris Owen was also honored by the ECAC today when he was named to the ECAC Honor Roll. Owen scored both Tiger goals in the game at Harvard to extend his team lead in goals to nine. Owen also scored twice against Harvard in the team's first meeting this season.
