Tigers Fall At Juniata In Men's Volleyball Action

Huntingdon, Pa. - Princeton's five-match win streak was snapped at Juniata College on Sunday afternoon as the Tigers fell to the Eagles 3-1. Princeton took an early 1-0 lead, but could not hold on for the victory in Huntingdon.
The Tigers took game one with a 30-22 score and had game two all nodded up at 18-198 before Juniata made a run to take a big lead. Princeton rallied back to come within one at 29-28, but the Eagles finished off the game and went on to win the next two.
Blake Robinson led the Princeton attack with 19 kills and Ryn Burns added 16. Jason Liljestrom had 48 assists. Liljestrom and Mark Stevens each recorded a match-high 14 digs and Sean Vitousek had a team-high five blocks.
With the loss, Princeton drops to 5-4 overall while Juniata improves to 7-4 overall. The Tigers are back in action with their tenth straight road game on Feb. 19 at NYU.
